The art project “Hello World!” delves into the profound immersion of contemporary individuals into virtual realms, offering an exploration of their perpetual detachment from reality through multifaceted means. The depicted existence revolves around interactions with virtual environments and peers who mirror online avatars, paralleling their online personas even to the extent of documenting meals prior to consumption for social network sharing. This existence remains virtually uninterrupted, signifying the diminishing boundary between offline and online domains.

Tanya Akhmetgalieva’s artistic journey reveals a subtle metaphorical thread linking the artist’s subjects with the tangible world. This thread symbolizes the intangible introspections of the artist, woven onto the axis of time. As Akhmetgalieva delves into concepts of synthesis, unease, and escapism, the contemporary reality is underscored by the proliferation of synthetic materials and relationships, leading to an emotional displacement into virtual spaces.

Amidst these complexities, persistent questions arise: What role do we hold within these shifting paradigms? How deeply are we swayed by artificial environments? What motivates our actions in virtual realms? How do we interpret synthetic experiences? The 21st century stands as an era resonating with inquiries concerning the implications of our contemporary virtual habitat.
