The central piece of the installation is an image of a couveuse, an incubator nurturing a newborn. This innocent child serves as a poignant reminder of the challenging time we find ourselves living in – an era fraught with global emergencies, pandemics, wars, revolutions, and internal struggles that shape critical processes unfolding before us.

The premature baby in the incubator symbolizes the current state of humanity as a whole – fragile, vulnerable, and in need of intensive care. Despite the vast array of technological advancements and seemingly limitless innovations in medicine, we grapple with uncertainty about our future and the prospect of universal happiness.

Our restless and irrational times may not be an era of decline but rather an act of overcoming the past, forging a new “axis” of time. The fate of this symbolic child, our collective future, hangs in the balance. Will critical factors recede, leading to a better world? The answers lie in the hands of destiny and ourselves, as we ponder the emergence of a viable new idea of peace and the prospect of harmony in this “new man.”

The inception of this project dates back quite some time, as the artist has long been captivated by the essence of hospitals, medical paraphernalia, and the unique aesthetics they embody. Beyond their sterile appearances, there lies a deeper significance and profound characters that might escape casual observers. In the realm of resuscitation, where life and death intertwine, immense battles are waged in pursuit of the future.
